Streaming movies, and other files, from your DLNA enabled NAS to an AppleTV2 without the need to keep you computer switched on with iTunes running!
Video Rating: 5 / 5
Link: www.orbitdownloader.com How to download the HD versions (720p/1080p) of the video file. Works for any streaming file, documents, images, flash, music, videos etc. Just download and install Orbit Downloader Firefox plugin and let it do the work for you. Just press one simple button when watching a video to save the whole of the streaming video to a file. I do not endorse copyright and only used Rhett and Links video as an example. If you wish to edit the downloaded video you should convert the video to an Xvid encoded AVI file, but make sure you have ffdshow tryouts codec pack installed first.

Good video. There are a number of ways to do it, but you can also use the free “DS File” iOS application from Synology, scroll to your movie file, click open, and then hit the air play icon.

@thegamer868 is it working now? It works for me. I found i had to restart the browser a few times or then download the plugin off firefox addons too just so it registers within firefox. Hope it helps

Unlike other methods for downloading youtube videos, this one offers you the best quality achievable as the plugin captures the actual streaming file that youtube shows you, rather than using screen recorder software than can appear laggy or unclear depending on the codec you use to compress the saving video.
